Unlimited Suriname Tours wanted to transform their website into a professional and reliable online information hub for (international) tourists who want to discover Suriname. The existing website no longer met expectations: the design looked outdated, the loading time was insufficient, and essential functionalities for processing booking and information requests were missing. For this project, we proposed WordPress as a future-proof solution. The goal was a complete website revamp with a focus on user-friendliness, performance, and scalability. The website had to not only provide information, but also actively contribute to generating and processing tour and transportation requests. After a thorough inventory of all existing pages and available assets such as images, videos, and corporate colors, we started rebuilding the entire website. In doing so, we have set up a structure that is easy for the customer to manage, with guidance where necessary.

Key
challenges

The biggest challenge within this project was combining a clear information structure with functional booking options. The website had to remain clear and easy to navigate for visitors, while at the same time offering space for multiple tours, detail pages, and request forms. During the project, the client’s requirements changed: in addition to an informative website, Unlimited Suriname Tours also wanted to actively collect leads and be able to accept and process booking and transportation requests digitally. This required additional modules and a flexible technical setup, without compromising on speed and ease of use.

Results

The end result is a completely revamped WordPress website with a clear focus on tours and tour reservations. The website now serves as a central information point for travelers who want to visit Suriname and offers clear, structured information about the full range of tours on offer. In addition, customized forms have been implemented for booking, transportation, and information requests, enabling Unlimited Suriname Tours to actively collect and follow up on leads. The website is faster, more professional, and prepared for further growth. To gain insight into performance and visitor behavior, standard integrations such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and speed monitoring have been set up. This allows the customer to continuously monitor and optimize the website.
