JL Ceramics, a ceramics production studio needed a complete rebuild of their website after having technical issues that brought their wbeshop to a halt. We defined the scope of the project and performed a proper onboarding of the client. A project that would seem to become a huge one was completed fairly easily by using the right tools and transparent communication. This project included creating a complete website sitemap overview, e-commerce integration with product, SEO set up, Google Analytics & Merchant Center integration and maintenance.

challenges

One of our biggest challenges was to make a complete sitemap overview of the existing website in order to be sure to include every webpage, product and blog post. Considering the fact that the website had a big media library, we were required to find a solutions to not exhaust server resources. This also helped with faster loading times of the website. Another challenge was to make sure every page was responsive, since most e-commerce visitors are mobile user.

Results

By utilizing the resources and tools we have at hand, we were able to come up with a solution that would allow the website to run on Wordpress, have a good loading speed, and work well for mobile users. We completed the website with a thourough shopping journey, including payment methods preffered by the client.
